Job summary

Green Heart Care Pty is seeking casual Disability Support Workers to assist participants in the community and in Supported Independent Living Homes. You will help people with varying needs to engage in life skills and social activities, supporting their independence with a person-centred, respectful approach.

Shifts span seven days with flexibility, and you will work across a range of services to meet participant requests and goals, fostering inclusion and community participation in NSW

Qualifications

• Availability to work at least three shifts per week.
• Drivers Licence.
• First Aid Certificate.
• National Police Check.
• Manual Handling Training.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You.
• NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC).
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Right to Work in Australia.
• COVID-19 Double Vaccination Certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for participants with disability in community and Supported Independent Living Homes.
• Support participants to experience life, learn new skills and join social activities.
• Work across a range of services with a seven-day roster and flexible hours.
