Job summary

Sylvanvale Limited is a not-for-profit services provider supporting over 350 people with a disability in NSW. Casual opportunities across Western Sydney involve providing tailored support and helping clients achieve personal goals through meaningful activities at home and in the community.

You will work with client plans, assist with personal care and daily tasks, and help clients access community activities. Strong communication and tech skills, including a smartphone, are required.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in supporting clients with challenging behaviours and complex care needs.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding client plans to provide best practice support.
• Implementing and working towards client goals to increase their capacity.
• Supporting clients with personal care, cooking, and cleaning.
• Helping clients access and participate in local community activities.
• Engaging clients creatively throughout the day.
