Job summary

Mercy Health invites casual Dietitian(s) to join the Werribee Mercy Hospital team. Casual shifts available, with a friendly and supportive Dietetics group.

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centred care across maternity, acute and subacute services. Eligible for Dietitians Australia/APD status and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Master of Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
• Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and APD status.
• Relevant work experience in a hospital setting.
• Evidence-based practice and commitment to quality improvement.

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality evidenced based, patient centred care. To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Master of Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
• Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and APD status.
• Relevant work experience in a hospital setting.
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• High level working knowledge of current evidence-based practices and a commitment to quality improvement, clinical research and professional development of self and others.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
