Job summary

Hallett Cove Dental in Adelaide’s southern suburbs seeks a casual Dental Assistant/Receptionist to support chairside care and front desk duties. Training is available in either area, with shifts across our opening hours, including Saturdays, to suit the day’s needs.

You will work with dentists, the oral health team and front office staff to deliver excellent patient care, manage bookings, payments and health fund claims, and help maintain a smooth clinic flow.

Qualifications

• Previous dental reception or assisting experience (preferred)
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting or higher (preferred)
• WWCC current or willingness to obtain (essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organised and able to manage a busy clinic day
• Team-first mindset and genuine patient care commitment

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting across general, restorative and implant procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments per infection control standards
• Welcome patients at front desk, manage bookings and recalls
• Assist with payments and health fund claims
• Schedule appointments and manage phone enquiries
• Maintain accurate clinical records and stock control
• Collaborate with the wider practice team for smooth operations
