Mounties Care, powered by Mounties Group, seeks a compassionate Casual Support Worker to provide respite care for a client in Whale Beach, NSW. Shifts are two weekdays, 9:00am–4:00pm, with dementia care experience essential. This role offers regular casual work and a chance to make a meaningful difference in daily living for an older person.

You will support companionship, personal care, meals and light duties, with a focus on safety, dignity and person-centred care in the client’s home.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting people living with dementia.
• Background in aged care, home care or disability support.
• Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid & CPR, NDIS/Police checks.

Aufgaben

• Provide respite support and companionship to a client living with dementia.
• Support personal care tasks such as showering, dressing and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with light household duties.
• Support community outings, appointments and wellbeing checks.
• Monitor wellbeing and report any changes to the team.
• Encourage independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
