Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, efficient, and accurate customer service across Council services
  • Maintain confidentiality of Council and customer information
  • Accurately record and manage customer enquiries and follow up within service standards
  • Process payments and assist with daily balancing tasks
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve customer issues
  • Participate in training and contribute to customer communication and service improvements
What We’re Looking For
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse community
  • Calm and professional approach to handling difficult customers and situations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record keeping and cash handling
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Flexibility to work on a rotational roster as required
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
