Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Casual Construction Assistant to join its team for ongoing on-site work across commercial and residential projects. Earn $35.11 per hour plus super and a $22 daily travel allowance, with typical weekly earnings of $1,400+ and immediate start.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months’ general labouring or trade assistant experience, a Construction White Card, and a valid driver license. PPE is required, and performance can lead to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Work across commercial and residential construction and landscaping.
• Assist qualified tradespeople on site.
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites.
• Container unloading and site cleaning.
• Site preparation and material handling.
