Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking a Community Transport Driver for casual roles in Bombala and Cooma. The role involves transporting clients of Community Support Programs safely, providing excellent customer service, and handling basic administrative tasks.

A valid driver’s licence with a clean record is required, and the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles is essential. Experience with frail aged people and those with disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current drivers licence with a safe driving record.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Experience with frail aged people and people with disabilities and their carers.
• Physically capable of assisting passengers with restricted mobility.
• Flexible working hours.
• Team orientation with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication with the public.

Responsabilités

• Transport clients to destinations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide high-level customer service and assist clients with access to vehicles.
• Complete basic administrative paperwork and data entry as required.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Promote information sharing to drive evidence-based decisions and capacity.
• Contribute to a safe workplace and comply with policies.
