Zusammenfassung

ConnectAbility Australia is seeking casual Community Support Workers to help people with disabilities live independently and participate in their communities. The role offers flexible hours across 6am–8pm, Monday to Sunday, with potential conversion to part-time employment and a supportive team environment.

Casual rates start at $45.28 per hour. This role supports customers across the Hunter region including Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast, with online and on-site training and salary

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Disability or relevant experience.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (P2) and comprehensive car insurance.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• Good computer skills and ability to use IT systems.
• Reliable smartphone.

Aufgaben

• Provide community access and support participation in social, recreational, civic and vocational activities.
• Engage with and support individuals using a person-centred approach and ensure access to services that match goals and needs.
• Help customers develop skills, build capacity and participate in daily living, health care, household management and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate customer records for individualised support.
• Build strong, professional relationships with customers, families, caregivers and stakeholders.
