Job summary

Knox City Council is recruiting a Casual Certificate III Educator to join our integrated Early Years team. You will contribute to high-quality education and care that supports children's development and wellbeing across Family and Children’s Services.

The role involves collaboration across two Hubs in Wantirna South and Bayswater, and you will be part of a supportive, inclusive culture. The position is paid at $45–$47.91 per hour plus superannuation for casual employment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of National Education & Care Services National Regulations and National Law Act.
• Commitment to high-quality Education and Care programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with adults and children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support children and families.
• Minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services.
• Current Certificates in Anaphylaxis, Emergency Asthma Management, CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality early childhood education and care across Family and Children’s Services.
• Collaborate across two Hubs to meet individual needs and interests of children and families.
