Job summary

Silverchain is seeking an experienced Care Aide for a casual role across Toodyay and surrounding WA communities. The position runs 7am–3pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with travel between clients’ homes using a personal vehicle and a mobile app to follow schedules and care plans.

Applicants should have a relevant care certificate or relevant experience in home care. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential, with opportunities for education support and staff discounts

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 months relevant care experience if certificate held; 6+ months without cert.
• Experience in home care/community setting preferred.
• Valid drivers license with access to vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support to clients.
• Assist with showering, grooming, toileting and meals.
• Provide medication assistance as required.
• Support domestic tasks and general housekeeping.
• Offer social support and community engagement.
• Follow schedules and care plans via a mobile app while travelling.
• Maintain a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
