Job summary

Busways is seeking casual Bus Drivers to join the Heatherbrae depot and serve the local community with safe, reliable transport. You will drive buses on scheduled routes, delivering a high level of customer experience and working flexible shifts to fit the school term schedule.

The role includes a 4 week paid driver training program, potential career progression, and benefits such as Fitness Passport and novated leasing options. A good driver history and a current MR+ licence are required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Medium Rigid (MR) or above driver’s licence
• Good driving history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check and working with children check
• Current NSW Driver Authority is highly desired (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Drive buses as a casual driver to service the community and provide a high level of customer experience.
• Work at the Heatherbrae depot with flexible shifts morning and afternoon during the school term.
• Engage with customers and ensure safe, reliable transport on assigned routes.
