Job summary
Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT in Cootamundra is recruiting a Casual Care Service Employee to assist residents with personal care, meals, and engagement in activities. You will document services and contribute to care planning with registered staff.
Minimum requirements include a Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support and at least 2 years of aged care experience, with flexibility for AM/PM and night shifts. Full working rights are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements: Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support.
- Experience in similar role in aged care (Minimum 2 years).
- A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity.
- Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts.
- Must have full working rights.

- Assisting residents with personal care including showering
- Supporting residents with meals
- Contributing to care planning with registered staff
- Documenting care and services provided to residents
