Job summary

UPA Aged Care Solutions – Albury-Wodonga VIC is seeking a Recreational Activities Officer (Casual) to drive resident engagement in social, recreational, and cultural activities at Murray Vale. Weekend availability is required.

You will lead programs, assess outcomes, and support residents’ independence while promoting health and wellbeing, with a focus on quality of life in a residential aged care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is required.
• Experience in an aged care setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and lead activities for residents to meet social and recreational needs.
• Assess and document program effectiveness by tracking residents' progress.
• Lead mental health and wellbeing programs empowering residents’ choices and independence.
