Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Cashflow Manager / Cost Controller to lead cashflow reviews, manage project budgets, and drive cost control across our projects. You will collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and Cashflow Analysts to ensure timely vendor invoicing and accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a degree or comparable experience in construction, business, or finance, with 5 years in cashflow management. Strong communication and data-quality focus are essential in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Have a degree or comparable experience in construction, business, financial or related field.
• Have grown your experience in cashflow management and/or cost controls over the last 5 years.
• Have strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset to create balanced solutions and recommendations.
• Have experience working with systems such as Oracle, SAP and the Microsoft Suite.
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Support OSE cashflow performance reviews across projects, including identifying key variance drivers and opportunities to improve cashflow accuracy.
• Review project budget reports in the cost management system to understand budget positions and PO status and identify data gaps compared with the finance system that may contribute to cashflow variances.
• Review correspondence and programme information to understand payment milestone status and identify any commercial decisions, potential programme risks, or data quality issues that may affect cashflow performance.
• Proactively align with regional Commercial teams, Finance teams, and Cashflow Analysts on actions required to receive and record vendor invoices in the finance system in a timely manner.
• Create and update department budgets and review monthly spend, including checking invoice and credit refund status to support inventory alignment and internal procurement strategy.
• Provide actionable insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
• Use digital tools to measure and track vendor performance and identify opportunities for process automation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
