Job summary

Armaguard Group in Cairns is seeking a detail-oriented cash handler to count cash and valuables received from clients, then sort and package them for delivery.

You will be responsible for processing cash accurately, maintaining records, and reporting discrepancies. This role requires strict adherence to security and operational procedures in a trusted Australian security environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be accurate with numbers and able to handle money confidently.
• You should be detail-oriented and focused on precision in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Count cash and valuables received from clients and prepare them for delivery.
• Process cash and other valuables efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile cash processing records to avoid discrepancies.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities promptly.
• Follow strict security and operational procedures to safeguard assets.
• Ensure Armaguard safety standards are met in all tasks.

Working within our Cairns branch, this role is all about accuracy, security, and teamwork. You’ll be responsible for counting cash and valuables received from clients, then sorting and packaging them ready for delivery. Key areas include:

• Efficiently processing cash and other valuables
• Maintaining accurate cash processing records
• Identifying and reporting discrepancies
• Following strict security and operational procedures
• Ensuring all Armaguard safety standards are met
