About the role
This role is based at Mirrabooka and focuses on providingcasework support to eligible Settlement Engagement and TransitionSupport (SETS) service users to enable for positive settlement inAustralia. The role works mainly with Humanitarian entrants,refugees and other eligible visa holders to provide tailoredcasework in their first 5 years in Australia.
You will respond to issues and concerns, supporting serviceusers to achieve their goals by providing practical support,mentoring and advocacy as required. You will provide timely andrelevant referrals to other services as required whilst maintaininga strong understanding of relevant services and supports. The roleoffer a great opportunity to be part of the Settlement servicesnetwork in WA and Nationally with access to community of practiceand ongoing professional development.
About you
You’ll have a strong passion for casework support andempowering our settlement engagement and transition support (SETS)service users. You will hold previous experience in a caseworkerposition.
