Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking Case Officers to manage court orders for individuals at low risk of reoffending and potentially individuals on reparation orders. The role focuses on directing and monitoring compliance with court order obligations through evidence-based practices.
Key responsibilities include order administration, referrals to services, handling non-compliance, and producing case notes.
Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending andconnecting individuals to programs,servicesand community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, serious sex offenders on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
Case Officers in the Court Practice stream are responsible for the administration of court orders for individuals assessed as being at low risk of reoffending and may also be required to manage individuals on reparation orders.
This role is required to direct and monitor compliance in line with court order obligations and evidence-based practice.
