Job summary

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing carpentry and building trades.
• Year 10 or higher preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow directions and learn on the job.
• Willingness to obtain White Card (CIC).

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified carpenters on residential and commercial projects.
• Learn framing, joinery, installation and finishing techniques.
• Measure, mark and cut timber to specification.
• Maintain a safe, well-organised work area and tools.
• Attend apprenticeship training modules and off-the-job courses.
• Support team to meet quality standards and timelines.
• Develop problem-solving skills on construction tasks.
