Job summary

Work & Training is offering an apprenticeship opportunity in Hobart. You will be employed by Work & Training and hosted to our Hobart client for the duration of your apprenticeship.

Gain hands-on carpentry experience and complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Carpentry CPC30220. On-site theory training is provided with mentoring and support from a dedicated apprenticeship consultant.

Qualifications

• Solid work ethic and willingness to learn and take instructions.
• Willingness to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Carpentry.
• Hold a current drivers licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Have a White Card.

Responsibilities

• Assist in domestic construction projects, including renovations and new builds.
• Work safely on busy building sites, alongside of other trades.
• Utilise power tools safely and in accordance to WHS policies and procedures.
