Job summary

Carmeni Lorenzi Construction in Melbourne is seeking a Carpentry Apprentice (1st–3rd year) to join our growing team. Work is focused on renovations and extensions in the Bayside/Kingston area, with start dates in Nov/Dec 2026 or Jan 2027.

Apprentices will rotate through demolition, framing and concreting up to finishing touches, caulking, cleaning and handover, under a team of six. Ideal candidates are physically fit, with basic hand tool knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for carpentry.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Demonstrates commitment and enthusiasm with genuine interest in carpentry.
• Physically fit and capable for demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Demolition and framing tasks across projects.
• Concreting and finishing touches to installations.
• Caulking, cleaning and handover to clients.

1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentices wanted. Work is mostly in the Bayside/Kingston area. To commence Nov/Dec 2026 or Jan 2027.

We have a position available for a Carpentry Apprentice to join our growing small building business & great team. We cover all aspects of carpentry specialising in renovations & extensions. Ensuring complete all-round experience of many different types of projects. Generally tackle 4-6 projects a year with a team of 6 employees.

Apprentices will experience demolition, framing, concreting through to finishing touches, caulking cleaning & Handover.

To be successful you will need to have the following: Must have:

• Basic knowledge of hand tools (first year apprentice)
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
• Physically fit and capable

Preferred but not essential:

• Own car
• Own tools
• Completed Pre App

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
