Job summary

Simmons Civil is seeking experienced Carpenters to join their Gladstone crew. This full-time role offers a 9-day fortnight with every second Friday off and a 2pm finish on Fridays, along with ongoing training and a supportive team environment.

Based in Gladstone, QLD, the position involves working on industrial, maintenance, and civil projects across the region. Applicants should have relevant trade qualifications, construction card, and transport to the area.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience on industrial sites.
• Construction Card (white card) held.
• Open manual driver's licence is required.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and practices.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Must pass medical and security checks.

About The Position

We’re looking for expressions of interest from experienced and qualified Carpenters to join our upbeat and efficient work crew.

Required Skills And Attributes

• Extensive experience on industrial sites
• Relevant trade qualifications
• Ability to pass a medical and security check
• Construction card
• Open manual drivers licence
• A strong understanding of safety
• Ability to work well within a team
• Own transport and accommodation in Gladstone/surrounds (this is not a DIDO/FIFO role)
