Job summary

Able Modular Homes on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a trade-qualified carpenter to join our growing team. You will contribute to constructing high-quality modular homes using modern methods of construction and prefabrication processes.

You will read plans, collaborate with colleagues, maintain safety standards, and help deliver projects on time while upholding quality workmanship and a strong client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified carpenter with residential construction experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Proactive, problem-solving, and team-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s licence and white card required.

Responsibilities

• Construct homes using Modern Methods of Construction.
• Work on modular residential projects with prefabrication and steel framing.
• Read and interpret building plans to bring designs to life.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient project completion and client satisfaction.
• Adhere to high-quality standards and building regulations.
• Maintain a safe and organised worksite.

Able Modular Homes is a subsidiary of Campbell Construction Co, a multi-faceted building company specialising in new homes, renovations, modular housing and insurance repairs across Queensland and beyond. The role:

• Be a part of a team to construct homes using Modern Methods of Construction
• Work across a variety of modular residential projects, working with prefabrication and steel framing
• Confidently read and interpret building plans to bring designs to life
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion and client satisfaction
• Adhere to high-quality standards and building regulations
• Maintain a safe and organised worksite

About you:

• We’re looking for a trade-qualified carpenter who:
• Has proven experience in residential construction (modular experience is an advantage)
• Holds a valid driver’s licence and white card
• Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship with strong attention to detail
• Bring a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Is innovative, enjoys working as part of a team and helping guide other team members
• Be part of a growing start-up business with a strong pipeline of modular housing projects
