Job summary

Inspire Residential Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a skilled Carpenter for high-end residential framing and renovations. You will read plans, perform stick framing, roof work, and finish alignments with premium standards.

The role requires 2–3+ years post-apprenticeship framing/renovation experience, AS 1684 knowledge, and Australian work rights. A 9‑day fortnight roster supports work-life balance and long-term project continuity.

Qualifications

• Post-apprenticeship residential framing/renovation/extension experience (2–3+ years).
• Ability to read, interpret, and set out from architectural plans and drawings.
• Proficient in traditional stick framing and roofing.
• Experience with AS 1684 timber framing codes.
• Unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship).
• Certificate III in Carpentry and White Card are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan interpretation from architectural plans, elevations, and structural details on-site.
• Roofing and framing with focus on stick framing, traditional roof pitches, and pre-fab truss setups.
• Carry out sub-floors, structural tie-downs per wind ratings, and structural modifications.
• Lock-up and fix: install external cladding, window frames, doors, and internal fix-outs to premium standards.
• Coordinate with other trades on-site and maintain safe work practices.
