You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing cabinets and fixtures, while adhering to OH&S guidelines and building codes. 2+ years of carpentry experience preferred and readiness to work with a range of tools.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand requirements.
• Adherence to OH&S and safe workplace practices.
• Physically capable of performing with carpentry duties.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install high end joinery.
• Read blueprints and drawings to meet project specs.
• Assist supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Measure and install cabinets, shelves, and similar fittings.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Take measurements and calculate material quantities.
• Repair and install doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, etc.
• Check work accuracy with levels and surveying equipment.
• Comply with local building codes and safety regulations.

Pascon Constructions Pty Ltd is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Carpenter to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assemble and install high end joinery.
• Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully understand requirements.
• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Measure and install furniture such as cabinets, shelves and more.
• Effectively use a large range of hand and power tools, and ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Check the accuracy of work with the use of levels and surveying equipment.
• Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant trade qualification
• At least 2 years work experience
• Have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping as safe workplace.
• Willing to follow detail instructions to and quick Learner.
• Be able to perform the physical requirements of the role.
