Job summary

RTC Group is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our Trade Services team. Roles are available in Port Augusta, Port Lincoln and Ceduna, supporting residential projects from small maintenance to full refurbishments.

You will travel regionally, work across multiple sites, and apply high-quality tiling and waterproofing skills. The successful candidate will have at least three years tiling experience (Certificate III desirable), strong communication skills, and a safety-first

Qualifications

• Minimum three years tiling experience; Certificate III in Floor and Wall Tiling desirable.
• Successful medical check including Alcohol and Other Drugs screening.
• Hourly rate between $35 and $45 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on residential projects across bathroom refurbishments and tiling works.
• Travel to sites within Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Ceduna as required; adapt to regional travel.
• Maintain safety standards and document progress using site software where applicable.

Our Trade Services team is a diverse team made up of skilled carpenters, painters, plasterers, tilers, concreters, handypersons, and trade assistants that work collaboratively to deliver high quality, safe and cost-effective outcomes that exceed customer expectations.

The Opportunity:

We currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join the RTC Trade Services team. We have roles available in Port Augusta, Port Lincoln and Ceduna.

In this role you will work across multiple projects and sites, working on a variety of residential works from small maintenance jobs to full refurbishments. Standard working weeks are 38 hours Monday to Friday. Due to the vast area we service, daily and occasional overnight regional travel is an ongoing requirement of this role.

This role will enable you to utilise your skills and experience to deliver high-quality work whilst providing an essential service to the local community.

About You:

The successful candidate will demonstrate high-level tiling and waterproofing skills and have previous experience in bathroom refurbishments.

With multiple projects on the go at any one time, you will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and effective at working to meet agreed timeframes. You will be a strong communicator and have the people skills required to interact with our diverse client base. All work is allocated and signed off via software, with a sound level of computer skills being desirable.
