Job summary

KPI Labour Hire is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our growing team for ongoing projects across Queensland. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality carpentry and formwork with strong safety, workmanship and teamwork standards.

Work across major civil construction, utility and industrial sites with EBA rates and ongoing program. Applicants should have 2+ years' carpentry or formwork experience, be able to read drawings, and show reliable, physical labor capability.

Qualifications

• Qualified carpenter with trade qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in carpentry, formwork or civil construction.
• Experience assembling and installing formwork systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Current Construction Induction (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Undertaking carpentry and formwork activities in accordance with project requirements.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications.
• Assembling and installing formwork panels, metal props, brackets and clamps.
• Assisting with concrete pouring, screeding and finishing works.
• Performing steel fixing, conduit laying and pipe laying activities as required.
• Stripping, cleaning and stacking formwork for reuse.
• Delivering work safely, on time and to a high standard of quality.
• Maintaining compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
• Working collaboratively with supervisors, operators and construction crews.

CARPENTER

KPI Labour Hire is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our growing team for ongoing projects across Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on EBA rates, working across a variety of major civil construction, utility and industrial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry and formwork while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking carpentry and formwork activities in accordance with project requirements.
• Setting out, levelling and measuring from drawings and specifications.
• Assembling and installing formwork panels, metal props, brackets and clamps.
• Assisting with concrete pouring, screeding and finishing works.
• Performing steel fixing, conduit laying and pipe laying activities as required.
• Stripping, cleaning and stacking formwork for reuse.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications.
• Delivering work safely, on time and to a high standard of quality.
• Maintaining compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
• Working collaboratively with supervisors, operators and construction crews.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in carpentry, formwork or civil construction.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour.
• Current Construction Induction (White Card).
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices.
• Willingness to work across various project locations throughout Victoria.
• Experience in steel fixing, conduit laying or pipe laying is advantageous.
• Experience working in civil construction environments is highly regarded.
• Exposure to substations, terminal stations or data centre projects is highly regarded.
• VESI training and plant equipment tickets are advantageous.
• Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check.
