Job summary

Premium Lifestyles in Brisbane, Coopers Plains base, is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join on a contract basis. You will set out and build timber deck structures with steel frame roofs, install doors, stairs, handrails and balustrades, and uphold safety policies.

Ideal candidates have proven carpentry experience, a Certificate III in Carpentry, Australian working rights, a valid ABN, and own tools. You’ll work 40 hours per week with Monday–Friday hours and competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally in a construction or fit-out environment.
• Formal carpentry qualification such as a Certificate III in Carpentry.
• Full Australian working rights or permanent residency.
• Regular access to a reliable vehicle and own tools.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety requirements.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

About the role

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis.

Your daily duties would involve but not be limited to:

• Set out and build Timber Deck structures with custom made pre-fabricated steel frame roof structures.
• Cut and fit doors, Install stairs, hand rails and balustrade.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

About You

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally in a construction or fit-out environment
• Formal carpentry qualification, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry would be highly regarded
• Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
• Regular access to a reliable vehicle
• Valid ABN Number and your own tools
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety requirements
• Ability to use a range of hand and power tools safely and proficiently
