Job summary

Pergolas Brisbane is seeking a full-time qualified carpenter or experienced handyman to join our small, friendly team in Brisbane. You will construct and install patios, pergolas, timber and composite decking, outdoor living spaces, roofing and related carpentry work.

We value pride in workmanship, independent work, and the ability to work well with others in a family‑owned business. Hours are 7am–4pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing, decking and/or carpentry.
• Solid understanding of general building principles.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• High workmanship standard and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install patios and pergolas.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on position involving the construction and installation of:

• Patios and pergolas

• Timber and composite decking

• Outdoor living areas

• Roofing and associated building work

• General carpentry and installation work

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can think on their feet and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
