Job summary

Ingenia Communities at South West Rocks Holidays site is seeking a Casual Caretaker to welcome guests, handle check-ins, reservations, and inquiries, and support overnight and weekend operations.

You will coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, ensure cabin readiness, and maintain site safety and records. This role requires First Aid, Police Check, evacuation accreditation, and solid computer literacy.

Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate required and current; National Police Check is required.
• Fire and Emergency Evacuation Accreditation is required.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use guest/reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out guests, handle reservations and payments, and respond to inquiries and requests.
• Support daily site operations, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance and ensuring guest records are accurate.
• Maintain cabin and amenity cleanliness, safety, and park rule compliance.
• Provide after-hours support, addressing guest needs and overnight or weekend issues.
• Promote park services, events, and premium offerings to guests.

We’re on the lookout for aCasual Caretaker to join our team at our South West Rocks Holidays site.

Reporting to the Park Manager, the Caretaker is responsible for delivering support and services to residents and guests outside of standard business hours, including overnight and on weekends, when staffing levels are reduced.

In this Role, You’ll

• Deliver exceptional guest services by greeting and checking in/out guests, handling reservations and payments, and responding to inquiries and reasonable requests.
• Support daily site operations including coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, managing room readiness, and maintaining accurate guest records using computer systems.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety through cleaning cabins and amenities, locking up facilities, and conducting routine checks to ensure compliance with park rules.
• Provide after-hours support by attending to guest needs, resolving issues like noise complaints or equipment faults, and performing overnight stays when required.
• Contribute to community engagement by assisting with kids’ activities, park entertainment, and promoting additional services, events, and premium offerings to guests.

• Are physically capable and hands-on, with the ability to assist with cleaning, maintenance, and site operations, including occasional lifting, equipment use, and frequent walking around the site.
