Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a Multi Skilled Carer to join the Lady McCusker facility in Duncraig on a part-time fixed-term 30.5 hours per fortnight until October 2027. The roster includes shifts on Tuesday, Friday, Wednesday and Thursday across evenings and nights. Commitment to all days/shifts is required.

You will deliver personal care, support daily living activities, and work as part of a caring team to promote residents' wellbeing, dignity and quality of life at Amana Living.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills and the ability to develop understanding relationships with residents
• Previous experience administering medications
• Evidence of current Flu vaccination
• NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
• Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Available to attend a compulsory induction at Rivervale Training Institute (4 days)

Job description

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced, Multi Skilled Carer to join the team at the Lady McCusker facility located in Duncraig.This role is offered on a part time fixed term basis working 30.5hours per fortnight this role will be until October 2027, the roster is as follows:

Week 1

Tuesday: 2215 - 0700

Friday: 1515 - 2100

Week 2

Wednesday: 2215 - 0700

Thursday: 2215 - 0700

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Support resident’s physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care delivery
• Assist with resident’s care needs in line with their care plan

Essential Criteria

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
