Job summary

Amana Living – Lake House Mosman Park Care Centre is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Carer to join our team on a part-time basis. The role is 39 hours per fortnight with a fixed roster including weekdays and Sundays, and you must commit to all listed days/shifts.

You will deliver personalised care to residents, assist with daily living, hygiene, meals, activities, and administer medications, while promoting dignity, compassion and a homely environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
• Experience administering medications.
• Valid Police Clearance not older than 6 months / ability to obtain at interview.
• Evidence of current Flu vaccination
• Available to attend a compulsory 4 day induction at Rivervale Training Institute

Responsibilities

• Support residents’ physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care delivery.
• Assist with residents' care needs in line with their care plans.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment.
• Support and advocate the rights of older people.
• Assist with personal hygiene, showering and toileting.
• Assist with activities of daily living, dressing and grooming.
• Assist at meal times including feeding.

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced, Multi Skilled Carer to join the team at the Lake House facility located within our Mosman Park Care Centre Facility.This role is offered on a part time basis working 39hours per fortnight, the roster is as follows:

Week 1

Monday:07:00-12:45

Wednesday:07:00-12:45

Sunday:07:00-12:45

Week 2

Monday:07:00-12:45

Wednesday:07:00-12:45

Thursday:07:00-12:45

Sunday:07:00-12:45

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support resident’s physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care delivery

You will deliver homely and loving environments by providing care with compassion, integrity and dignity. Essential Criteria

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
• Effective communication skills and the ability to develop understanding relationships with residents
• Previous experience administering medications
• Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
• Evidence of current Flu vaccination
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Available to attend a compulsory 4 day induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
