Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking Carers to join our team in New South Wales and the ACT region. You will provide compassionate personal and daily care, assist with meals and hygiene, and support activities that matter to residents.

You will document care electronically, support residents with dementia, and uphold safety and respectful workplace standards. We offer opportunities for 6-month fixed-term and casual engagements, with shifts including late afternoons and evenings.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or enrolled RN required.
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families.
• Physically capable, tech-savvy and safety-conscious.
• Understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity.
• Commitment to safe, respectful, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and daily care, assist with meals and hygiene.
• Support activities meaningful to residents and wellbeing.
• Document care using technology and recordings.
• Support residents living with dementia with dignity.
• Ensure safety and WHS compliance and respectful workplace behaviours.
