CAREERS COUNSELLOR

Christway College is a growing Christian college community with campuses in Kingston and Wyndham, committed to nurturing students in faith, learning, and life.

Christway College Kingston is seeking a passionate and experienced Careers Counsellor to guide and support our secondary students as they explore future pathways in education, training, and employment.

This is an ongoing, part-time position, FTE negotiable, commencing in January 2026.

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide career advice, counselling and subject selection guidance to Years 9–12 students
  • Support VCE/VCAL/VET pathways planning
  • Build partnerships with universities, TAFE, industry, and employers
  • Assist with work experience, tertiary applications (VTAC), and scholarship opportunities
  • Contribute to a supportive, Christ-centred school culture

Essential criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in careers education, counselling, or related field
  • Current teacher registration or equivalent counselling accreditation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of Christway College
