As a Career Coach at Breakthru, you’ll support individuals with disability, injury or health conditions as they prepare for a meaningful career. Working as part of a dedicated and collaborative team, you’ll guide people through the job-readiness journey — helping them build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their career goals. From the first conversation to job application and interview preparation, you’ll be there every step of the way - empowering individuals to take control of their future and feel ready to step into the workforce.
You bring empathy, energy and a strong drive to make a difference. With experience, or a genuine passion, for employment services. You’re confident supporting people, building trust and guiding them toward meaningful and sustainable careers. You’re outcomes-focused, highly organised, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You love getting to know each client’s unique strengths, goals and challenges so you can coach them effectively and build their confidence for their next career. At the same time, you enjoy engaging with employers; taking the time to understand their business needs so you can prepare candidates who are the right fit. Your strong relationship-building skills allow you to connect with both clients and employers alike. You’re proactive, professional, and detail-oriented, always maintaining accurate records and upholding a high standard of service. Above all, you lead with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive, person-centred support.
