Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care in Wauchope NSW is seeking a Care Worker to support clients across Port Macquarie and surrounding areas. You will travel between client locations delivering in-home care, including help with daily activities and mobility.

This permanent part-time role offers 30 hours per fortnight across Tue, Wed and Thu with weekend shifts possible. You will join a values-driven organisation and access a range of employee benefits, development opportunities and salary packaging

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients across Port Macquarie and surrounding areas you will be required to travel between multiple client locations throughout these service areas as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

This permanent part-time role offers 30 hours per fortnight worked across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with additional weekend shifts available.

• Earn $34.42/hr (unqualified) - $36.23/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients.

What You'll Bring

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email. You have a caring nature, strong patience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s day.
