Care Worker – At Home Services

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients in the Blue Mountains and surrounding areas, you will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes.

You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

We are offering a Permanent Part time position for 30 hours per fortnight. Ideally, we are seeking availability between 7:00am and 5:00pm on Monday, Friday and one other alternative day during the week.

What You’ll Do

You will be part of a team providing in-home care and support to clients in their own homes, including: household tasks, personal care and mobility support, and companionship to help clients live independently.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with Third Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients
• Strong communication skills with resilience and patience
• Proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email
