Suncare Community Services – Maroochydore QLD
Getting older can mean giving up a lot, your home, your routine, your sense of independence. We don’t think it should.
With more than 800 team members and 300 volunteers, we’re here to help people keep living the life they love, with reliable in-home and community care, a local team who knows the neighbourhood, and the kind of support that always has time for a cuppa and a chat.
And we look after our team the same way. We offer real support, meaningful recognition, and rewards that reflect the difference you make every day.
Here’s what you can expect:
As a Care Partner, you'll help people stay in the place they're comfortable, connected to their community, and living life on their terms.
You'll be the person customers and families turn to for guidance, support and practical solutions. From developing personalised support plans and coordinating services, to navigating changing needs and responding when challenges arise, you'll play a key role in helping people continue living the life they love.
No two days look exactly the same.
One moment you might be helping a customer access a new service, the next you'll be supporting a family through an important decision or working alongside healthcare professionals to make sure the right care is in place.
Behind the scenes, you'll keep documentation accurate, manage budgets and funding requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement. Most importantly, you'll build genuine relationships with the people you support, because great care starts with trust.
This is a full-time permanent position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:36pm) supporting customers across the Sunshine Coast region.
You'll enjoy a hybrid work arrangement, combining time in our Maroochydore office with working from home.
Like building relationships, solving problems, and helping people navigate life's moving parts.
You know how to balance compassion with action. You're comfortable having meaningful conversations, can think on your feet when plans change, and genuinely care about helping people achieve what matters most to them.
You'll also bring:
We believe real care starts with real belonging. That means creating a workplace where everyone - no matter their background, culture, or story - feels seen, respected, and safe to be themselves.
We welcome applications from First Nations people, the LGBTIQA+ community, people with disabilities, and those from culturally diverse backgrounds. Your story matters here.
We proudly work across the lands of the Gubbi Gubbi (Gub-bee Gub-bee), Turrbal, Yuggera, Darumbal, Butchulla (Batjala) & Taribelang Bunda peoples, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. We are committed to creating a culturally safe, inclusive and welcoming workplace for all.
