Job summary

Bupa Willoughby in Sydney's Lower North Shore is seeking a practical hospitality support team member to assist with catering, cleaning and laundry within our modern care home. You will help provide residents with a warm, empathetic service while upholding high hygiene and safety standards.

Previous catering or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. A positive team player who communicates well and is flexible across shifts will fit in well, contributing to a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
• Understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
• Respond to residents’ queries and requests.
• Laundry duties including loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, handling and ironing as needed.
• Catering / food services duties including basic food prep, providing meals and snacks, clearing dining areas and washing dishes.
• Cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents’ rooms and common areas.
