Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a practical and proactive Maintenance Officer for Stanmore Place Care Community in Stanmore, NSW. You will perform routine repairs, ensure safety and compliance, and support residents by maintaining a safe, functional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, handyman, or groundskeeping role (aged care experience a plus).
• A practical, can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of WHS practices and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and minor projects across our care community and gardens.
• Ensure our home meets all safety and compliance standards, including WHS regulations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, minimising disruption for our residents.
• Manage maintenance supplies and equipment within budget.
• Work as a key part of our team to create a safe and welcoming environment.
