Care Dorset Limited is seeking a part-time Care Assistant to provide high-quality personal care and support to adults in our care settings. Duties include helping with personal care, domestic tasks, and maintaining dignity and privacy while recording essential notes.

The role emphasizes health and safety compliance, confidentiality, and the ability to follow care plans. This position offers weekend shifts and opportunities for training and development within a values-driven team.

Jobbeschreibung

Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting.

• Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
• You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualification or proven ability in literacy and basic mathematics.
• Commitment to achieving NVQ Level 2 qualification.
• Understanding of personal/physical care needs
• Understanding of confidentiality and privacySkills, abilities and knowledge
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Ability to attend to and assist with a range of physical care needs

This is a part time position, shifts to include alternate weekends
