Job summary

Bluebird Care Vale of Glamorgan is seeking a Care Assistant to provide personal care and companionship to clients in their own homes. You will drive to client locations, support with daily living tasks, and work as part of a caring team to maintain independence.

The role offers evening availability and weekend shifts, with paid training and progression opportunities. A full UK driving licence and local residency are required; full training will be provided, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• A Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Living in the local area and able to work alternate weekends.
• Commit to at least one evening shift per week; full training provided.
• Experience in care is beneficial but not required.

£13.45 per hour | Expert training | Flexible shift patterns

Due to growing demand, we are seeking carers who can provide evening availability on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, open to other availability.

Requirements

• A Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• To be living in the local area
• The ability to work alternate weekends
• To commit to working a minimum of one evening shift per week
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
• ABI experience is also desirable, but not essential.
