Job summary

A leading community care organization is seeking part-time Care Assistants in Queensland's Brisbane North region. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, assisting with personal care needs and medication. Candidates must have a Certificate III in Individual Support and relevant screening checks. Qualifications

  • Current Police Screening Certificate.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
  • Current Queensland driver's licence.
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle.
  • Proof of immunity or willingness to be vaccinated against MMR, Chicken Pox, and Pertussis.

Ozcare has part-time opportunities available for Care Assistants supporting our clients across the Brisbane North region.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

  • Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
  • Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
  • Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
  • Assisting clients with their medication requirements
  • Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements
  • Current Police Screening Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Current Queensland driver's licence
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
  • Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
