Job summary

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney is seeking a Visiting Medical Officer (Cardiology) to provide clinical services to patients under direct care, including outpatients and consults in general cardiology. The role includes delivering Cardiac Electrophysiological services and participating in teaching and research duties.

The successful candidate will promote high-quality patient care, support the department and hospital reputation, and participate in an on-call roster outside regular hours.

Qualifications

• Possess specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
• Possess a Doctor of Philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to patients under direct care, including outpatients and consults in general cardiology.
• Deliver Cardiac Electrophysiological services to patients.
• Participate in teaching and research duties.
• Promote excellent patient care and uphold the department's and hospital's reputation.
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call roster.
