Job summary

Heartscope, part of Scope Healthcare, is seeking a Medical Technician to join our cardiology team in Melbourne. This hands-on, patient-facing role runs tests and prepares patients for scans, collaborating with cardiologists and sonographers.

You will perform ECGs, fit Holter and blood pressure monitors, and assist with stress echocardiograms while maintaining accurate records and supplies across our Melbourne clinics.

Qualifications

• Background in nursing, medicine or science.
• Clear communication with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Confidence with computers and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECGs and place electrodes for clear traces.
• Fit Holter and blood pressure monitors and explain wear instructions.
• Prepare patients for stress echocardiograms and assist cardiologists.
• Keep accurate records in HealthTrack and patient details with privacy in mind.
• Maintain supplies and keep equipment clean and functional.
