Job summary

Canberra Health Services seeks a Specialist in Cardiology with a focus on Echocardiography and Multimodal Imaging in Canberra. The Interventional Cardiology Service operates two dedicated catheterisation laboratories and performs ~900 coronary interventions and 1,800 angiograms annually.

The Echocardiography Unit performs over 4,000 studies yearly, including transoesophageal and stress echocardiography, with emergency services available.

Qualifications

• Operate within the Public Sector Management Act (1994).
• Follow the ACT Public Service Code of Conduct and the professional requirements of the relevant Specialist College.
• Conjoint appointment at ANU may be considered at an academic level commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiology imaging and interventions in a tertiary centre.
• Lead Echocardiography/Multimodal Imaging program and collaborate with related services.
