Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking Cardiac Physiologist and Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology teams at Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will support advanced diagnostic and interventional care in a multidisciplinary environment, with opportunities for training and skill development.

The roles involve performing cardiac tests, assisting with echo, electrophysiology, catheter procedures and monitoring devices, with leadership

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant science or health bachelor’s degree.
• Meet the qualification pathway for your level (AHP1–AHP3).
• ASAR Accredited Sonographer registration or equivalent.
• Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Sonography or Electrophysiology for AHP2/AHP3.
• Experience in echocardiography for AHP2; specialist physiology knowledge for AHP3.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac tests to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Support echo, electrophysiology and catheter procedures.
• Assess cardiac devices and support ambulatory monitoring.
• Contribute to research, quality checks and staff learning.
• Lead complex tests and mentor colleagues at AHP3 level.
• Explore specialist areas via negotiation and on-call roster.
