St John of God Geelong Hospital is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager for the Cardiac Cath Unit. This permanent part-time role (28.5 hours per week) supports the Nursing Unit Manager and contributes to high-quality patient care.

You will lead, supervise junior staff, manage staffing with budgets, and promote safe clinical practice while complying with AHPRA requirements. A values-driven culture and opportunities for professional development are offered.

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nursing Unit Manager with audits, statistics and staff performance data.
• Monitor staffing against budgets, bed days and patient acuity.
• Adjust staffing in consultation with Unit Manager/Coordinator.
• Develop budgets and operational plans for the department.
• Communicate concerns regarding patients and staff to leadership.
• Act as deputy in the absence of the Nursing Unit Manager.
• Demonstrate compliance with legislation and professional standards.
• Foster multidisciplinary relationships and team collaboration.
