St John of God Geelong Hospital invites applications for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This permanent part-time role (28.5 hours per week) supports the Nursing Unit Manager in clinical management and supervision of staff within a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab environment.

You will lead staffing and budget considerations, participate in audits and performance reviews, and ensure safe, evidence-based patient care across coronary, vascular and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Ability to develop and build inter-disciplinary relationships.
• Experience with audits, statistics and budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist NUM in audits, statistics and productivity analysis.
• Monitor staffing against budget and adjust with Unit Manager.
• Identify resource needs and support budget/operational plans.
• Address concerns with NUM/Coordinator and support HR processes.
• Lead nursing practice in line with legislation and professional standards.
• Commit to ongoing education and patient-centered care.
