Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Permanent Full Time Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Day Stay Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The role includes pre/post procedural care and rotating to scrub/scout for interventional procedures.

Applicants should have Australian registration, at least 2 years in acute settings, and be able to attend after-hours on-call within 30 minutes. SLHD offers employee benefits and supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Must be Australian resident or current visa holder.
• Current Cath Lab experience preferred and over 2 years clinical nursing in acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and post procedural nursing care in the Cardiac Day Stay Unit.
• Scrub/Scout for interventional cardiac and vascular procedures in Cath Lab.
• Work in a 24/7 emergency cover environment with on-call duties.
